“The kids are going absolutely crazy loving this Oculus!!! It has created a huge sensation. So much fun!!”
Mark Frey Director/ Computer Science and Technology Academy Skyline High School in Oakland, CA
Techstart created the VR Camp as an opportunity to reward student achievement and dedication and help them bring the skills learned in the classroom to another level. Participation in VR Camp is offered as a special award and students must be nominated by their teachers.
VR Camp can expose new learning experiences and surroundings to those who may not have much access to it or may not know the possibilities and opportunities that CS can give you.
This camp shows students that they can do something, that no matter where they're from, they can make a 360º video, or an interactive website, or a virtual reality game.
I am creating a Computer Science and Business club at school to share the materials I've learned at VR camp. I am also collaborating with my older brother to create a VR game using Unreal Engine 4 and submitting it to the Oculus Store.
