Techstart in Schools

Bring Techstart to your school

We work closely with district administrators to understand the computer science education needs for each school and build a customized plan, including one or more of the following Techstart components:

Virtual Reality

We provide each classroom with the hardware, resources and community connection necessary to leverage high end virtual reality experiences to give teachers means of building student engagement and enthusiasm for computer science. Each classroom is equipped with a full Virtual Reality development kit including a 360 camera and open source educational materials curated by the Techstart team.

Awards and Opportunities

Techstart provides schools with unique access to CS specific events, opportunities and celebrations to encourage student commitment, showcase hard work and foster collaboration. These include VR Camp, Award Events, Techstart Scholar as well as Hackathons and Engineering panels.

Curriculum Support

We support schools who want to work with any of our third party CS curriculum partners to supplement their existing CS offering or provide an entirely new course. Techstart curriculum support offers grants to cover the costs of the first year of implementation as well as teacher professional development on our partner platforms.
